Are you Real??
I saw my first pt today. My mom. She's great. I only finished one quad which was very disappointing. My goal for next time I see a patient is to not waist so much time thinking about what comes next and not spend so much time with OHI. I didn't miss any calculus so that was good, but it was weird cleaning around crowns, it was a good experience for me. Sorry mom!

Honey I am so glad to hear that your first patient went good yesterday. Yeah sometimes you just have to rush through the small stuff so you can get to the fun stuff like scaling. OHI can take a lot of time. Just don't let an instructer hear you say you are going to shorten OHI, because they will not be happy. I am to the point now where I just wait and do OHI and the end, unless they have a lot of plaque and I want them to see it. Don't tell, but I never disclose my patients. Unless it is a kid, cause that is fun for them to see. But that just takes to long. You are in a time crunch. YOu will get the hang of it. You will start to fly through your OD's so don't stress. The TA's on your day said you are just doing awesome. So keep up the good work. I knew you would be great. You will just fly through this program. Honestly if you need anything please call me. Even if you just need some words of encouragement. This program is long and hard. I have gotten so frustrated so many days. So if you need help with homework or anything just let me know. Well talk to you soon. Have a goog christmas break. Enjoy yourself while you are off school.
