Today was a good day in clinic, other than the fact that I was told that we all suck at probing. There's an instructor who apparently gets mad if you're one mm off, thank goodness they're ok with that on boards.
I saw a class III pt in the morning who was really nervous so we only did the OD.
I attempted to do sealants on a little girl, but the Diagnodent said no to that idea (at least I passed off the PE).
I saw a split class II/III in the afternoon. It's the first pt I've worked on this year that was numb and I loved it. He seriously went to sleep while I went to town on his deep pockets. I'm going to start asking more of my pt's if they want to be numb.
My goal for next time is to work on angling the probe into the col.
Tamara was so nice to me today. She cleaned up my unit which helped me a ton because I had to get to work.
